What Are You Buying?

It can be a hard choice to make, but if you're finally ready to part with your old books, we are always looking at collections for prospective purchase. If you are interesting in selling to us, please follow the instructions below. 

Email Us!

We will always have to see a collection before speculating a price, because condition is essential. You may also email us a list of what you have and make an appointment via email. If it is a collection we are interested in seeing, the owner will make an appointment with you, if it is now we will let you know promptly. During times of high volume, we cannot properly assess collections. Thus, appointments are made to ensure that we can treat your comics with care, that an eligible staff member is present, and to accommodate individuals who may be traveling a long distance. Please do not show up unannounced and expect us to be able to purchase.

We buy a LOT of comics at Comic Envy, and as a result we have a great selection of back issues already. Please don't be offended if we already have copies of the books you are trying to sell - we just don't have the room to store duplicates! We offer a fair price, based on what we can re-sell the comics on, as of course we do need to make a profit. You will be welcome to take or leave our offer, or think on it while exploring other options.

Can We Buy From You Online?

While we currently do not have an online storefront, we are happy to mail treasures to you. Just call or email us inquiring about the specific items and we will arrange shipping to your specification. 

Discounts

We often offer bulk discounts on back issues from the main stacks, and run area specific sections or holiday sales. We do not offer discounts on new releases beyond subscription folders. Additionally, new single issues releases may be limited per person depending on availability as to provide for as many individuals as possible. 

Subscriptions

Subscriptions are available for local individuals who prefer pre-ordering comics to be held aside. Subscription folders can be picked up in person, through curbside, or be mailed to your home. Please call if you have questions about setting up with us. On some occasions books will arrive damaged or not arrive on time, in which case we will replace them as quickly as we possible. Subscription must be picked up in a timely manner and is a commitment to purchase all titles requested in a timely manner. Orders must be in a day prior to the items Final Order Cutoff, and updates can be made in person, via email, or over the phone. Please email us or chat with an employee if you have any questions.

Are You Hiring?

Sorry, at this time Comic Envy is fully staffed. When we do hire, we generally hire regular customers with extensive knowledge of the our immediate community who are avid readers. Resumes are always welcome by email.
